Contact support

Email gary@general-context.com. Include your Instamake account email, project name, Shopify .myshopify.com domain when relevant, and the approximate time of the issue. Screenshots are helpful as long as they do not expose secrets or customer information.

Shopify Connect

  1. Open your project and choose More → Connectors → Connect Shopify.
  2. Complete Shopify’s account, store, and permission steps.
  3. Choose Continue in Instamake, sign in if asked, and select the project to connect.

If the app was installed directly from Shopify, Instamake will ask you to sign in and choose a project. If a connection was revoked, disconnect it in Instamake and install again from Shopify.

Stripe Connect

  1. Ask Instamake to add payments, then open More → Payments → Connect with Stripe.
  2. Complete Stripe’s hosted business, identity, and payout steps.
  3. Return to the project. If Stripe lists outstanding requirements, choose Continue Stripe setup.

Never paste a Stripe secret or restricted key into Instamake, chat, or email. Instamake’s production connection flow does not ask for one.

Before sending a report

  • Refresh the Instamake project and Shopify Admin once.
  • Confirm you are signed into the intended Instamake account and Shopify store.
  • For storefront issues, verify the product is active, available to the relevant sales channel, and has an available variant.
  • For Stripe, confirm the connected account shows payments enabled and has no past-due requirements.
